Story Text:

Las Vegas The Nevada Department of Transportation will be closing the southbound Centennial Center Boulevard on ramp to U.S. 95 from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m., along with the southbound U.S. 95 on ramp from Oso Blanca Road from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. and the southbound U.S. 95 off ramp to Ann Road from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.  Ramp closures will start Sunday night and reopen on Monday, July 14.  Motorists should slow down, and heed all traffic control devices.

In addition, motorists should continue to expect nightly lane closures from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night throughout the duration of the project.  Lane shifts will take place on southbound U.S. 95 from the 215 Bruce Woodbury Beltway to Ann Road starting Sunday evening.

The closures are part of the U.S. 95 Northwest Corridor Improvements Project, which is a joint effort between NDOT, the Federal Highway Administration, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, Clark County and the City of Las Vegas.  Phase 2A of the project will widen U.S. 95 from Ann Road to Durango Drive.  The project cost for this phase is $35.7 million.  Las Vegas Paving is the general contractor on this project.
