Title: NDOT to Close Buffalo Drive Ramp to U.S. 95

Story Text:

Las Vegas - The Nevada Department of Transportation will close the northbound Buffalo Drive on ramp to northbound U.S. 95 starting at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10 through 5 a.m., Friday, Aug. 15.  Traffic will be detoured to the Durango Drive on ramp to U.S. 95 northbound.  The closures are to prepare for the inside and outside widening of U.S. 95 from Ann Road to Durango Drive.

Motorists should continue to expect nightly lane closures from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night throughout the duration of the project.

The closures are part of the U.S. 95 Northwest Corridor Improvements Project, which is a joint effort between NDOT, the Federal Highway Administration, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, Clark County and the City of Las Vegas. Phase 2A of the project will widen U.S. 95 from Ann Road to Durango Drive. The project cost for this phase is $35.7 million. Las Vegas Paving is the general contractor on this project.
