Title: U.S. 95 S/B Ramp to I-15 N/B to Close for Shoulder Work

Story Text:

LAS VEGAS - The Nevada Department of Transportation will be closing the U.S. 95 southbound on-ramp to I-15 northbound from 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 to 5 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20 to replace the asphalt dike along both shoulders of the ramp. The work will improve the ramp's ability to direct stormwater flow to the drainage system. Please use caution, slow down and heed all traffic control devices. Also, consider using an alternate route, including taking U.S. 95 southbound to the Las Vegas Boulevard exit, re-entering U.S. 95 northbound via the Las Vegas Boulevard on-ramp and taking U.S. 95 northbound to the I-15 northbound on-ramp.

NDOT strives to provide current information about construction schedules and highway and roadway restrictions and closures. Unscheduled restrictions and closures may occur and weather can impact work schedules. For the latest information on Nevada highway conditions, call 5-1-1 or log on to Nevada 511.
