There have been 180 fatalities on Nevada roads this year. While Nevada traffic fatalities have decreased approximately 40 percent since 2006, the Nevada Departments of Transportation and Public Safety and other Strategic Highway Safety Plan partners across the state remain committed

to saving lives. Providing a snapshot of Nevada traffic safety efforts, these annual "Road Show" workshops bring together transportation engineers and planners, law enforcement, emergency medical responders, educators, safety advocates and others to enact Strategic Highway Safety

Plan strategies and help reach Nevada's zero fatalities traffic safety goal. (Zero Fatalities Website and link to the Strategic Highway Safety Plan.
