Title: NDOT to Close Lanes, On-ramps for Graffiti Abatement

Story Text:

LAS VEGAS – NDOT will implement traffic restrictions from 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 23 to 6 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 24 on northbound and southbound I-15 near the Union Pacific Railroad Bridge structure (south of Lake Mead Boulevard). Travel will be reduced to two lanes in both directions in order to clean an overhead sign and install cages designed to prevent graffiti on the structure. In addition to closing the two right lanes in both directions, the northbound I-15 on-ramp from Washington Avenue and the southbound I-15 on-ramp from eastbound Lake Make Boulevard will also be closed. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

NDOT strives to provide current information about construction schedules and highway and roadway restrictions and closures. Unscheduled restrictions and closures may occur and weather can impact work schedules. For the latest information on Nevada highway conditions, call 5-1-1 or log on to Nevada 5-1-1/NV Roads.
