Title: I-15 Lane Restrictions, Traffic Shifts Set for Week of Aug. 26
LAS VEGAS - The Nevada Department of Transportation will initiate lane reductions and traffic pattern changes on I-15 between the Silverado Ranch and St. Rose Parkway interchanges. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I-15 northbound will be reduced to one lane from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I-15 southbound will be reduced to two lanes from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The above-mentioned lane reductions will facilitate the shifting of the I-15 traffic from the western half of the freeway to the eastern half of the freeway. This shift is required to complete the construction of drainage structures across I-15 as part of NDOT's construction of a freeway interchange at Cactus Avenue.
NDOT strives to provide current information about construction schedules and highway and roadway restrictions and closures. Unscheduled restrictions and closures may occur and weather can impact work schedules. For the latest information on Nevada highway conditions, call 5-1-1 or log on to Nevada 511.
